Our Story and missioning
We help each other out, do the heavy lifting, ensuring a unified approach to our work built on collaboration and drive to achieve the very best event experience each and every time.
With a broad experience from a range of backgrounds, we have over 50 years of experience in event management, event production, event design, event operations, event planning, event coordination, event risk management, site management and entertainment management and every aspect of events that fall within these!
Our team has worked on some of the most successful and established events such as Formula 1 Grand Prix, Australian Open Tennis, Melbourne Fashion Festival, Midsumma, NAIDOC Week, Global Citizen, FIFA Women’s World Cup Ensuring you can trust our knowledge and ability to understand your vision and deliver your event to the highest of standards each and every time.
We don’t like to boast, but we are proud of our work, which has resulted in us winning the 2023 Melbourne Award in the category of “Aboriginal Melbourne” for producing Michael Long Foundation’s The Long Walk. We also celebrate our nominations as event management company of the year at both the 2022 and 2024 Australian Event Awards, and raising $1M for the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation through the Me and UooUoo project.

Mentorship Program
Blu Event Productions is passionate about developing future event professionals. Each year we collaborate with William Angliss Tafe to provide up to four students the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge through work placements at Blu Event Productions, helping them to prepare for their event industry careers and set them up for success.
Blu Event Productions acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, and all Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to emerging leaders and all First Nations communities who continue to contribute to the life of this land.
